Shifting States

Inspired by a love for coffee drinking and art making, Shifting States captures this timeless ritual by presenting the states of mind one is in while drinking coffee; challenging artistic concerns and practices through painting with fluids, sculpture, and animation. This project creates visuals for the heightened states of consciousness by exploring perception, experience, and movement.
